High Handletters
Letters bring me to beautiful places: I filmed this at the 12th floor at the Marriott Hotel in Rotterdam. See the letters i wrote (in this building on great height) in my portfolio!
Identity ‘Vrij Spel’
Playing is the language of children. Inspired by this, i played with transparent forms to design the logo of ‘Vrij Spel”. A brand new play therapy* practice of Renate Boeters-de Koning. Flyer and business cards are printed on beautiful paper called ‘PaperWise’. *Play therapy is a form of psychotherapy for children between the ages of 3 and 11 years. Talking about what’s bothering them is very difficult for many children, therefore play therapy is used. Playing is a natural way of communicating: play is the language of children.

Workshop Sign Painting
Dat was een leuk uitje met het (bijna complete) Serious Lettering team! Pieter van Bold Statements leerde ons de basis van de ambacht: Sign Painting. Letters schilderen in de stijl van de old school Amerikaanse reclameborden. Voor ons 20 Lettering professionals waren de vormen en letters zeker niet nieuw maar wel voor de meeste de materialen: de verf, de bijbehorende verdunner, hoe je ermee omgaat, hoe je de kwast gebruikt en onderhoud etc. Heerlijk die geur van Chromaflo 6000!!
Letterhand veroordeeld
Mijn Letters in de Rechtbank van Utrecht! Erg? Nee, juist heel leuk, want Utrecht is een fijne stad (Waarom bezoekt de hele wereld eigenlijk Amsterdam?) en De Rechtbank een fantastisch restaurant! Je wordt veroordeeld tot de beste service, ambiance en eten. Ik geef 10 sterren!

Letters voor een hoge toren
Voor het Marriot Hotel Rotterdam mocht ik 2 grote borden handletteren voor in de lobby-bar Pillars. En dat is gaaf én indrukwekkend: het hotel beschikt namelijk over 12 liften (12!!) en huist in het 149 meter hoge Millenniumtoren tegenover het Centraal Station.
